Post your jobs automatically

To post your jobs automatically - please reply to support@postjobfree.com and send me a link to your job feed.

Q: How would I receive resumes?

PostJobFree would email candidates' applications to you.

Q: How much does it cost?

The basic job feed inclusion is free.

To advertise your jobs on other job boards - the price is $1 per application you receive.

Q: I do not have a job feed - what do I do?

You have couple of options:
1) Ask your applicant tracking system provider to give you a link to your job feed. It could be XML job feed or RSS job feed.
2) Post your jobs here: http://www.postjobfree.com/post-job

PostJobFree would give you a link to an RSS job feed that contains jobs you posted. You may send that RSS job feed link to other job boards.

4 steps to make resume alert email you right candidates

When relevant candidates post their resumes - you want to know about it ASAP, right?
That is what resume search alerts are good for.

Step #1: Create your first resume search alert

To-do:
- Open Create Resume Alert page.
- In "What" field type your most important keyword (for example: "nurse").
- In "Where" field type location where you search for candidates (for example: "New York, NY").
- Click "Activate".

Step #2: Create more alerts

Simple alert from step #1 would match only some resumes.
How to catch all relevant resumes?
Create as many alerts as you need.
To-do:
  • Create alerts for every relevant keyword you are interested in.
  • Create alerts for every location you are interested in.
If you want resumes from everywhere - keep "Where" field empty.
If you want resumes from US only - type "USA" in "Where" field.

Step #3: Fix alerts that email you unwanted resumes

In previous steps you already created resume search alert.
If it emails you too many unwanted candidates - edit alert to make search filter stricter.
To-do:
  • Open email with alert that sends you too many mismatching resumes.
  • Click "Update this alert" link at the bottom of that email.
  • Add 1 or 2 extra keywords that resume must have in order to deserve your attention.
  • Define exact location (e.g. postal code) and distance for your search.
  • Click "Save".

Step #4: Use Boolean search

Boolean search allows you to create more sophisticated alerts.
These alerts match more resumes and, at the same time, filter out unwanted resumes.
For example: (nurse or rn) psychiatric

How to post jobs

Step #1: Post your first job

Many candidates do not publish their resume. Instead they search for jobs.
Unless you post your job, candidates do not know that your opening exists.
To-do:
Describe your most pressing opening and post your job.

Step #2: Include all relevant keywords

When adding keywords think about your ideal candidates:
  • What keywords are they going to search for?
  • Does your job posting contain all these keywords?
To-do:
Add all relevant keywords to your job posting.

Step #3: Add more details to your job description

I recommend 100 to 500 words in your job posting (not too short, not too long).
To-do:
Update your jobs and describe:
  • Required skills.
  • Benefits of working for your company.
  • Brief company overview (optional).

Step #4: Post more jobs

The more jobs you post - the more applications you would get.
Please post unique job descriptions (not copy-pasted duplicates).
To-do:
Describe other job openings you have and post them all.

Step #5: Renew expiring jobs

Candidates usually apply only to recently posted jobs.
If you forget to renew your jobs, PostJobFree would send you a reminder 30 days after job's last renewal.
To-do:
Every week (or every month) review your jobs and renew jobs that are still open.
